Past Tournament Results of Cobourg Tae Kwon Do: Part 1

Hello Everyone

Just thought I would post the past tournament results of the students and instructors of Cobourg Tae Kwon Do since I first took over the academy on May 1, 2003.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2009: Master Jonathan Field competed at the 2009 Canadian National Golden Belt Karate Championships and won 1st Place for breaking.

2009 US OPEN / ISKA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS (ISKA/WBA/USBA)

Cobourg Tae Kwon Do’s Team Wolverine competed in various breaking and forms events at the 2009 US OPEN. The world’s largest and most prestigious martial arts tournament.

FEBRUARY 28, 2009: Master Jonathan Field and Ryan Donnelly of Cobourg Tae Kwon Do competed at the 33rd Annual Ontario Provincial Open Martial Arts Championships held in Hamilton Ontario. Master Field won 1st Place in Traditional Korean Black Belt Forms and Ryan Donnelly won 3rd Place in the 18-34 year old men’s intermediate sparring.

DECEMBER 8, 2007: COBOURG TAE KWON DO’S 2007 TOURNAMENT OF WARRIOR
The 2007 Tournament of Warriors was our largest tournament we hosted so far. Our Taekwondo students have greatly improved in their skills and knowledge of Taekwondo. We are very proud of them all. Guelph Olympic Taekwondo gave us a good competition. The Tournament of Warriors is becoming a bigger and better success every year. The refereeing and judging was too perfection. Half of the admission fees at the door were donated to Merwin Greer Public School as part of combined fundraising event for the school.

SEPTEMBER 29, 2007: Sa Buhm Nim Jonathan Field, Kory Harper, and Ryan Donnelly travelled to Scarborough to the Canadian Nationals. Sa Buhm Nim Jonathan Field got 1st place in breaking, Kory Harper got 1st in breaking, and Ryan Donnelly got 2nd in sparring.

JULY 6-7, 2007: Sa Buhm Nim Jonathan Field competed at the 2007 US Open / ISKA World Championships held in Orlando Florida. He took 2nd place in creative board breaking, 3rd place in power breaking with the hand, and 4th place in power breaking with the elbow.
