Hello Everyone

We got a few topics to talk about today so let’s get right to it.

First up is that Master Joyce and I(Master Jonathan) have finally been confirmed as 4th Dan Kukkiwon Taekwondo Masters. We were successfully tested for our 4th Dan Kukkiwons back in late October 2010 by Master Wright and Master Dube. Master Dube sent the paperwork over to Seoul Korea where the Kukkiwon is located. On February 20, 2011 they issued us the 4th Dan Black Belts.  This gives Master Joyce and I our second 4th Dan Black Belts in Taekwondo as we hold 4th Dans with Master Veronica DeSantos in Toronto. In May 2011 Master Joyce and I will be testing for our 5th Dan Black Belts with Master DeSantos while Sir Richard Bernier, one of our 3rd Dan instructors here will be testing for his 4th Dan with Master DeSantos.  Our grading will be 40 hours long. I cannot wait 🙂

Okay second topic for today is our Online Silent Auction to help support Cobourg Tae Kwon Do’s Team Wolverine at the 2011 US OPEN and ISKA World Championships in Orlando Florida on July 1st and 2nd. We plan on sending 12 junior competitors and 5 senior competitors.
