EFFORT IN CLASS / GITCHHIKER.COM

Good Morning,

Two topics for today’s blog.

#1 – Effort in your Taekwondo class, or your kickboxing class, or your kettlebell class, or whatever it is you do. Mainly I am talking about Taekwondo classes here. See the key to getting the most out of every class and every training session is the effort you put into it. If you are not seeing the results you are expecting, check your effort. Are you really putting 100% effort into your classes? Are you kicking as high as you can? Are you snapping all your techniques? Are you dragging your butt or putting the required speed into your techniques? Are you stretching hard or are you relaxed while stretching? Are you fully listening to and following the instructions given to you? Are you putting the effort into your training for yourself and being a good training partner for others? Are you the one talking when you should be listening? Okay I think you got the point? Right? Maybe? Okay enough with the questions. But seriously when you come to class be prepared to train. Focus on what it is that is going on and do your absolute best. Strive to really improve every time. Do not make excuses why you can’t do something or say something like this”I can’t do that because I am not you” or “That person gets more training” Thees are all excuses that are limitations you set upon yourself and yourself alone. Only you and you alone are responsible for your ultimate progress. Make a decision right now to only focus on you and not anyone else. Make a decision to focus on your progress. Make a decision to put the effort in and make yourself the best version of you each and every day. Everyday we wake up a new person. Hopefully that person is better than the person of yesterday. Okay so get out there and train!!!

#2 – Check out the video below. Talk about putting the effort into something he cares about.
