“There’s a difference between INTEREST and COMMITMENT.
When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when it’s convenient.
When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
Now that some powerful truth we are reading right there. There is definitely a big difference between being interested and being committed.
When you are interested in something you can lose that interest or it’s not important to you. You are more likely to change your mind quite easily and go do something else.
When you are committed you are dedicated to that something. You are passionate and will see it through. Nothing will get in your way. You won’t change your mind so easily.
There’s not a lot of people out there that are truly committed to the things that they do. They just kinda do it when they feel like it. They make more excuses not to do it versus looking for reasons why they need to do it. It definitely takes a stronger will to stay committed. You have to work at it. You have to create little habits that will keep you on track with your commitments.
I hope everyone has something positive that they can commit to. It’s definitely worth all the hard work.
