Word of the Week – HUMILITY

This week’s word of the week is HUMILITY

Humility is freedom of pride, avoiding becoming foolishly over self confident in ones’ self.

It is okay to be confident in yourself and you should be. You have something special to offer. You most likely have something you can do better than others. That is awesome.

Humility teaches us that we can be proud of ourself but not in a way that displays that we feel that we are better than others. That we are too prideful of others.

Humility keeps us grounded. We must always think that we will be successful in whatever we choose to do but not to the point that it doesn’t co-exist with reality.

Sometimes champions need to lose to be humbled. To realize that they are not unbeatable. They learn more from losing and that is part of humility. Being open to growing from both successes and failures.

Humility is being humble. Knowing that you do know and achieve some great things but that you also know that you don’t know everything. There is always room for growth and improvement.
