This week’s Junior Message of the Week is Cleanliness
What does it mean? It can mean to keep your physical space clean and tidy such as your room, your school desk or locker, your play area, your yard, and etc,. It can also mean to have good hygiene, meaning to keep washed, teeth brushed, nails trimmed, and hair neat and tidy. It can mean to wear clothing that is neat, tidy, and clean.
But beyond that cleanliness can also mean to keep your mental clean and tidy. Putting forth your best effort not to allow garbage and negative thoughts into your head. Not allowing others to put bad stuff in there. Choosing to be courteous and friendly to others. Avoiding anything that can do damage your your brain. You can choose what you watch on television, what you read, what you listen to on the radio and the music you listen too. You get to choose what conversations you are taking part in. You can choose what will affect your thinking.
We are exposed to so many different influences that we do and do not realize. We have to be careful to what we allow in. Becoming more aware of what can affect us and choosing whether or not that they will affect us should become a daily practice.
So keep your mental, physical, and spiritual full of cleanliness.
