The difference between a Master and A beginner is that the master has failed more times than the beginner has tried.
There is no short cuts to mastering something.
There will be lots of successes but also lots of failures.
The real difference is the master welcomes failure and learned from it whereas the beginner might find failure to be an actual failure instead of a mere stepping stone towards success.
It is impossible to avoid failure but it is possible to make the best out of each failure. How can each failure make you better?
Through enough failures will come success but only if you pay attention to your mistakes and chose to correct them.
Ultimate success and mastery is something you choose to do. It does not happen by itself.
