We all have fear. It is what we do with fear that defines us.

We can allow it to control us and paralyze us or we can choose to face it and conquer it.

Facing our fears is not easy. Actually it is quite difficult. It takes a lot of courage to fight against your natural instincts to shy away from the things that could hurt us both mentally and/or physically.

But once we face it. Once we experience what we are afraid of over and over again we soon realize that it wasn’t so bad. Overtime your fear will go away or at least be very small. You just have to go ahead and do it. Don’t hold back. Just face it!

I am lucky as what I do for a living allows me to both face my own fears and conquer them as well as see other people face their fears and conquer them. It’s a slow and steady process but a very rewarding one. It’s a personal victory over ones’ self when you face a fear and become fearless of it.
