DON’T WORRY ABOUT CRITICS

Don’t worry so much about what the critics have to say. In most cases but not all, critics are the ones that criticize your work or your life yet they have no real experience in what you do. Unless someone has lived your life exactly or can do they things you can do or have done than they have very little value in their opinions.

Take movie or theatre critics for example. They don’t make movies, they aren’t actors/actresses, they don’t produce or write. Their job is to criticize others’ work but yet they can’t or won’t do the work themselves. So how can they have a valuable opinion on what the writers, producers, directors, actors, and etc,. do? Of course this is just a generalization and does not take into account the critics that have actually done the work themselves. We are just discussing the hypocritical ones.

The whole pint here is that one should not worry about their “critics”. You have a life to live, and work to accomplish. This can all get stressful from time to time. You don’t need to add to your stress by listening to the critics that can’t do what you do. You are your own unique person.

Listen to those that actually care and love you. Like friends and family that really know who you are and have your best interest at heart. Those opinions matter more than the ones from the critics that don’t care. You should be more concerned with living a happy and fulfilled life. Don’t hurt others. Make others happy. Be kind and generous. Do the best work you can. Be the best person you can be.
