Which style of Martial Arts is the best?

Simply put; the style you train in is the best.

The style you train that suits your needs is the best one for you.

There is really no real best martial arts style out there.

They all have their own unique techniques, strategies, concepts, rules, culture, and etc,.

They all have their own strengths and weaknesses.

In today’s era we live in a relatively safe time compared to the rest of history.

We don’t have mass amounts of countries invading other countries using hand held weapons or engaging in hand to hand combat.

Martial Arts has evolved more into self defense and self preservation.

What I mean about self preservation is that martial arts training helps us improve or maintain good physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health plus teaches us how to physically defend ourselves and our loved ones.

Martial Arts is a way of fitness with a purpose for some and a sport for others. Some few it as a hobby. Others like myself see it as a way of life.

With so many factors and some many different people studying the arts there is bound to be various styles for various people.

Comparing someone’s style to another person’s style is like comparing apples with nuts. Haha you thought I was going to say oranges, yes? Anyway apples and nuts or oranges are two to three completely different things.

One should not concern themselves with what other people are training or who has the best style.

The focus should be on your training in the style you are doing.

If the arts that you are studying and practicing makes you feel good and you are benefitting from it than that is the one for you.
