THE POT CALLING……

If you are a pot you should not call the kettle bell black.

That’s an old saying going way back when but it is true.

I believe for the most part that most of society has a tendency to judge others way too quickly.

People get judged for how they look, how they speak, where they live, who their parents are, who they hang out with, their past mistakes, their relationships, what they do for a living, their hobbies, their sport teams, and so on and on.

Most often the people that are judging them are no better or the same as they are.

I think universally we as humans have pretty much the same ambitions in life give or take the odds.

I have to believe that we all want to be happy. We all want to feel safe. We all want to be successful in what we do. We have family and friends that we love. We adore our pets. We seek to improve ourselves. Our past is part of who we are not not who we are. We seek brighter futures.

I also think they we have the same sort of challenges and fears as well. Every day we all face various challenges. Some challenges are big while others not so big. Sometimes these challenges conquer us and other times we conquer them. Our fears can get the best of us and other times we ignore them. They are all different for each one of us but we all have them.

If we were all concerned with trying to better ourselves and becoming he best versions of ourselves we can that would be a good goal. If everyone was focused on their own stuff and no worry so much about what others are doing life would be simpler. If we also focused on helping each other life would be a little better too. I think that there would be a bigger sense of a community this way.

These are my thoughts for this morning anyway.
