HOW YOU TREAT STUFF

How you treat someone else’s stuff should be the same as how you would treat your stuff providing you treat your stuff well.

The most common thing that most people have access to is our parked cars or moving cars on the road. Would you like it if someone scratched your car in a parking lot? Most likely you would not appreciate that very much. So now would you do the same thing to someone else’s car? I hope you wouldn’t. Accidents do happen and I would hope anyone would do right by the person if an accident did occur.

If you look all over the place you will see vandalism all over walls, fences, garbage cans, light posts, and so forth. Why would someone choose to damage someone else’s property? I would assume they wouldn’t like it if someone did it to them.

The golden rule applies here. Treat others how you want to be treated. Or in this case treat others’ stuff like you would want them to treat your stuff.

Another point we should look at is how do you treat your stuff. Do you take god care of it and treat it with respect or do you treat it like garbage and don’t really care? Having respect or not having respect for your belongings can easily show the respect you have for yourself.

Mutual respect is needed but is not as common as it should be.
