It’s been a week since I pulled my groin pretty good. I went from barely walking for three days to slowly getting my range of motion back without dealing with the severe pain that comes from it. I still taught all the classes and did all my workouts but just modified. I went to physio to get back at it as fast as possible.
Now not once did I think about resting, taking it easy, or even complaining about it. It is what it is. There is nothing I can do to go back in time to change it so I don’t pull my groin. I have to live with it until it fully heals.
But what I can do is look at the positive side of it all. I can give my body a little rest while I change up my workouts to avoid the groin area but still build strength and muscle in all other areas of my body. I can change up my routines a little to freshen things up. I can look at my weaknesses and address them. I can focus on all the good things and not worry about any negatives that comes along.
Too many people get a little sore get a little injury and that is it for them. They complain about it. They let it overtake them. Than their is the other ones who do the exact opposite. They don’t complain. They don’t let the injury slow them down. They work around the injury. They keep a positive mindset. They come back stronger than before.
Anything and everything can be really good or really bad. It all depends on your viewpoint of it. You decide how you want to look at it and you decide the overall outcome.
