Good Morning
Well a few days have past since the 2015 USBA/WBA Hall of Fame Banquet and Tournament in Connecticut on Nov 7th and 8th. It was a great weekend of competition, recognition, catching up with good friends, and a tribute to the late Grandmaster Elton Trower. This event was hosted by Grandmaster Ralph Bergamo and Master Drew Serrano. They always put on great events and really care about everyone who attends.
The Hall of Fame banquet is a ceremony that recognizes the competitors, officials, and directors for all they do for the sport of breaking and the USBA/WBA. Many awards are given out to the individuals that deserve to win them in various aspects of the sport of breaking and martial arts. Such awards include; membership awards, world records, competitor of the year for world/national circuit as well as the regional circuit, freshman award, most improved breaker, competitive spirit award, best break of the year award, top breaker, rising star award, dedication to martial arts breaking, champions circle award, the grower award, and appointments and special recognition. This year we also paid tribute to the late Grandmaster Elton Trower who passed away a few months back. It was a very special night.
