All the hard work and goals I met were definately worth it especially when I was presented with and tied it around my waste. It may me very proud to know I have achieved something not a lot of people have. So in saying that it means a lot to me to become a Black Belt knowing all the hard work I put into the journey was well worth it and showed me I can do whatever I put my mind to.

Even with the help of all the Great People that help/guide you on the way… They Cannot “make it happen for you”.. they can guide, they can support, they can push… but it’s still something you achieve on your own… “I did this.. I took myself to this level…” It’s Not a “solo” effort, but it IS a Personal Achievement…
Being a black belt is a way of life. It’s having the mental fortitude to do what needs to be done. It’s seeing the bright side of situations, weather they are pleasant or more challenging. It’s being there to help each other stand up when they trip over life. It is a fantastic way to keep in good physical shape to allow mental clarity when I’m at work. Above all, it’s just plain fun!
That’s what being a black belt is to me.
