Seeing Controlling Behaviours For Women’s Self Defense

Seeing Controlling Behaviours For Women’s Self Defense is a critical self defense skill to recognize controlling behaviours in partners and friends before things escalate to a potentially dangerous situation requiring self defense. Ma’am Cheryl Sanders and Master Jonathan Field, the co-founders of Empowered, conducted a few mother-daughter defense and empowerment workshops a few months back and one of the topics we covered was controlling behaviour. We discussed different types of controlling behaviour and common signals to pick up on before possible escalation. Seeing controlling behaviours as they are happening is an essential self defense skill for women.
