ORIGINALITY

How original are you? Are you your own person or a copy cat of someone else?

Do you travel the same exact path as someone else or do you carve your own path in life?

Do you fit into a mild that others expect you to fit in or do you break that mild and make new ones?

Are you being creative and original with your career, your family, your friends, your hobbies, and etc? Or are they the same as everyone else?

You don’t have to colour in between the lines. You are allowed to grow in anyway you chose. Be yourself. Live your life.

BULLY DEFENSE AT TAEKWONDO/YMCA DAY CAMP

Today is day 4 of our Cobourg Tae Kwon Do Day camp that we are partnering with the YMCA here in Cobourg. The campers come to us in the morning for Taekwondo and go to the YMCA in the afternoon for various games and activities.

When the campers are at our dojang we are working our Hyper Bully Defense program with them. The campers are learning about how to deal with bullies physically when there is no other option left for them. This helps build their self confidence so they can face any obstacle they may encounter.

We are also teaching them about what are the two types of bullies, the four types of bullying, how to deal with a bully during and after a situation, how to respect other people as not to become bullies, and so much more.

i believe one of the keys to help prevent bullying is to help educate today’s youth about it before it happens so they can prevent it. It’s already too late if the situations are already occurring.

Today will be a great day for them
