JUNIOR MESSAGE OF THE WEEK: Goal Setting

cobourg tae kwon do goal setting junior message of the weekThis Week’s Junior Message of the Week is Goal Setting

One of the most common things that success people have is that they have goals and that they write them down.

Having goals and writing them down is one strategy to becoming successful at what you chose to do.

So what is it that you want to achieve? Think in terms of short terms, medium terms, and long terms. Write them down. After you write them down formula a plan or learn how you can achieve these goals. Your goals can be related to how you do in school, what things you wish to gain possession of, what you want to be when you grow up, and etc,. The greater the goals the more likely you will be more successful.

Harvard University did a twenty year study on goal setting. They interviewed 100 students of very graduating class and found out that only 2 people from each 100 wrote their goals down. After twenty years the numbers showed that the 2 people that wrote down their goals were worth more than the other 98 people combined. Now that is interesting. The power of goal setting and having full intention to being successful is powerful.

It can mean to keep your physical space clean and tidy such as your room, your school desk or locker, your play area, your yard, and etc,. It can also mean to have good hygiene, meaning to keep washed, teeth brushed, nails trimmed, and hair neat and tidy. It can mean to wear clothing that is neat, tidy, and clean.

But beyond that cleanliness can also mean to keep your mental clean and tidy. Putting forth your best effort not to allow garbage and negative thoughts into your head. Not allowing others to put bad stuff in there. Choosing to be courteous and friendly to others. Avoiding anything that can do damage your your brain.
