STOCKING DRIVE A SUCCESS

Good Morning

Well our 3rd Annual Stocking Drive was a success thanks to all the students and parents here at Cobourg Tae Kwon Do. Thank you!

Also some of our students are running a food drive for their black belt grading community project at various locations. One of them being here. So if you got a food item or two you can spare they would be most grateful. The box is in the dojang by the Cobourg Tae Kwon Do banner. The box will be there until this upcoming Wednesday.

One thing though. How come we have to wait for special days or holidays to be more charitable towards those in need? How can more people be helpful and charitable more often throughout the year? Can we maybe just give a helping hand once in a while or make the odd small donation here and there providing we have the extra income to do so. Give what you can. Even the slightest things can make a huge difference if we all contributed. Charity is not about making financial donations but rather the help and support we can give to our fellow humans.

STOCKING DRIVE WAS A SUCCESS

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who contributed to our 2nd Annual Christmas Stocking Drive. Our goal for this year was to raise 80 stockings. We ended up raising 87 stockings and 7 bags of food. Our local Salvation Army picked up all the boxes and bags on Tuesday and will be organizing them this Friday.

You all made some children and families very happy this Christmas.
