As I mentioned yesterday I would post some of the past Black Belt Journey Posters that our students have done.
These are the only ones at the moment that I could find. If I find anymore I’ll post them. Keep coming back to see the 2012 Black Belt Journey Posters as they start to come in. I’ll be posting the community based projects the candidates are doing as well.
Also here’s a quick video from Tom Callos on Black Belt grading. He speaks of a few concepts that I really agree with.

FIRST BLACK BELT JOURNEY POSTER IN FOR 2012
Hello Everyone
Well the 2012 Black Belt grading here at Cobourg Tae Kwon Do is getting closer. Our students will be testing for various levels of Black Belts in June. Each year the candidates have to do various projects along their way to grading. One of the projects is to create a Black Belt Journey Poster. We have had some pretty talented students create some pretty awesome posters and paintings. Here’s the first one for 2012 painted by Sarena Thompson who is going for 1st degree Black Belt. I’ll post some of last year’s poster tomorrow once I find the pictures.
Here’s some pictures from 2011 when Master Richard Bernier and I did our community based projects for our own gradings in at DeSantos Martial Arts conducted by Grandmaster Veronica DeSantos. I did Candy for Kicks and Richard did Pennies for Peace.

Hello Everyone
Down below are some videos from The Black Belt Spectacular 2011 that was held this past Saturday in Toronto held at Rosedale Heights School of the Arts. This is where Master Joyce and I received our 5th Dan Black Belts while Maser Richard received his 4th Dan Black Belt. Team Wolverine also did a little demo at the show. The footage only shows a little bit of the show. There is lots that wasn’t captured. Enjoy.
