I DON’T STOP WHEN I’M TIRED

i don’t stop when I’m tired, I stop when I’m Done.

A very wise piece of wisdom that will allow you to achieve you more than you ever thought before.

This is applicable in all areas of your life. You can take this mentality in your work life and in your fitness/conditioning life.

If you are working out and you have so many sets and reps to achieve in each workout, you don’t finish or stop until you are done all the sets and reps that you set out to do. This will allow you to progress faster and in a more predictable manner.

Being tired or sore should not be an excuse to stop. Our bodies are designed to go through pain and tiredness. If you fight through it you will progress and adapt. If you keep giving up because of your excuses you will never adapt. You will never get any better. Worse yet you will start to decline. You will start moving backwards instead of forward.

Never allow yourself to stop until you are done. You owe it to yourself to make yourself better each and every day.

IT’S HARD TO BEAT A PERSON…….

482751_10151486129931708_1268198474_n

It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.

This is so very true in all aspects of our lives.

Ever play a game or sport against someone who never seems to give up? You know what I mean. They just keep coming back for more and more regardless of everything you throw at them. They ware you out with their seer determination to win. That’s what keeps them coming back for more. They will achieve their goal.

Now the ones that don’t have that drive give up very easily. They are not determined. They don’t see their goals as something obtainable. They don’t want to put the effort in that is required. They want the easy way out. But guest what? They are the ones that are easy to beat because they beat themselves before they or you have even started.

So I say be the one that never gives up. Figure out what lights a fire under your butt and go after what it is you want. Do whatever it takes to get you there. You can be a person that is hard to beat if you are the one that can’t be yourself.

A BLACK BELT IS A WHITE BELT THAT NEVER GAVE UP

IMG_5525A BLACK BELT IS A WHITE BELT THAT NEVER GAVE UP.

This is the theme of the first poster this year for the Black Belt Grading taking place in June 2013.

This simple statement is so true to all aspects of life and just not pertaining to the martial arts.

We all meet challenges, obstacles, difficulties, and so forth, but it is us who decides where we keeping moving forward or do we simply give up.

Nothing out there will stop us but us. It is you that makes things more painful, more difficult, more challenging. It’s all in our minds.

We can perceive how things turn out. Generally we decide whether we will succeed through our actions and thoughts. We are in control of these actions and thoughts. No one else is.

Every moment of your life you decide whether or not you are a black belt that was a white belt that never gave up.

THE NUMBER ONE REASON WHY PEOPLE GIVE UP……

547713_10151424168227863_290116580_n

The number one reason why people give up so fast is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go instead of how far they have gotten.

Remember that you have spent your whole life up to this point to get where you are now. Look back at all the things you have achieved. Look at all the challenges you have faced and conquered. Would you want to do them all over again?

The truth is you have come so far already. Don’t look at how far you have to go. Look at your goals as a journey of self discovery. Break them down into mini steps instead of one giant leap.

Another truth is time will pass on its’ own. You will continue to move forward towards your goals without really knowing it unless you completely give up all together.

Don’t worry about how far you have to go, you are meant to travel.
