THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR SUPPORTING THE 2016 OBC

Good Morning

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for supporting the 2016 Ontario Breaking Championships. There is too many names here for me to mention or remember so I will just doing the following.

Thank you to everyone that helped set up before the tournament and to everyone who helped cleaned up after the tournament.

Thank you to all the officials/judges from our school as well as from Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

Thank you to all the competitors from across Ontario, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Tennessee.

2ND ANNUAL ONTARIO BREAKING CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS SATURDAY

Good Morning

Just a reminder that there will be no classes this Saturday at Cobourg Tae Kwon Do as we are hosting the 2nd Annual Ontario Breaking Championships.

Also here is a list of things you need to know about the day of the 2016 Ontario Breaking Championships on Saturday May 7, 2016 at the Port Hope Town Park Recreation Centre, Fall Fair Centre, 62 McCaul Street, Port Hope, ON L1A 1A2, Canada.
1- Doors will open at 8am.
2- General rules meeting at 9:45am
3- New World Record Attempt at 10am
4- Tournament starts after that
5- Tournament will start with Creative wood breaking and Creative Open breaking
6- Rest of the events will run after that according to the schedule we have designed
7- 7 & Power Breaking will be in Ring #1, 8-12 power breaking in ring#2, 13-17 power breaking ring#3, 18 & up power breaking ring#4
8- High jump, speed, concrete, power wood kick machine, unspaced, and double power wood will run when space becomes available
9- When you arrived at the Port Hope Rec Centre Fall Fair Centre, please register at the registration table to pick up your division sticker, your event program, and weigh in if you are an adult lightweight male competitor.
10- After you have registered you can go get your wood/concrete which will be already organized for you
11- Spectators 6 & up is $5 entry
12- We will have pizza truck selling lunch, a cooler with water for sale, and some tables selling various items.
13- Must wear full uniforms with no head gear, and no padding or taping of striking surfaces on the body.
14- If you are doing creative breaking, you will need to provide your own carpenter pencils for spacers.
