TRAINING WITH INTEGRITY

When you are training whether for fitness, conditioning, sports, martial arts, or even schooling/work you must train with integrity.

This means that you do what is suppose to be done and with the full effort that it deserves.

Let’s say you are suppose to do ten push ups and you ended up doing eight really good ones and two bad ones. How many push ps did you do? If you train with integrity you will say eight push ups. You won’t count the two bad ones and you will do two more good ones to make up for it.

If you are training taekwondo forms for another example. If you are going through your forms but aren’t practicing the proper stances, good chambers, good snap, and high kicks you aren’t really training the forms properly. You aren’t using integrity in your training.

Integrity is knowing the difference between right and wrong and choosing the right way no matter what the personal ramifications you may endure.

If you want the most out of anything you train for you must train with integrity and do things right. It’s the only way you will see the improvement you are looking for.
