VICTORIA DAY WEEKEND

Just a friendly reminder that this Monday is Victoria Day so there will be no regular classes except for kettle bells at 8:30am and Black Belt Team Building at 9:30am.

Also long weekends are a chance to relax and recharge your batteries. You do not have to go full tilt all the time. Sometimes it is okay to go lighter somedays and harder on other days. It’s all about finding the right balance for you. Everyone is slightly different but we all need a little rest here and there.

ALL THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE UNIVERSE

If you had the chance to know all there is to know about everything that has and will ever exist in this universe would you take it?

I don’t know about you but i certainly would not take the chance or the opportunity to know everything.

If you knew everything you would miss out on pretty much every life experience you possibly could have.

I think you would get real bored knowing everything because there is nothing new to learn or experience.

I would rather wake up every morning knowing that I will learn something new, experience new things, make mistakes and learn from them.

I would rather have many failures and successes. Strive to improve myself each and every day.

I would rather wake up knowing that I really don’t know what is out there.

All I know is life is about learning and experiencing.

SOME CARDIO WORKOUTS PART 3

Here is two more cardio workouts that I have sent the 2014 Black Belt Candidates. I sure hope they are utilizing them. How about you? Have you tried any of them yet?

Cardio Workout #5
– Push Ups
– Jumping Jacks
– Wide Push Ups
– Clapping Jacks
– Wave Push Ups
– Burpees
– Diamond Push Ups
– Mountain Climbers
Cycle through each exercises for 5 reps, take 30 second break then cycle through with 10 reps, then 15, 20, 15, 10, and a final cycle of 5 reps for each exercise.

Here is the cardio workout #6 for the bb candidates

– squats
– burpees
– jump squats
– clapping jacks
– hack squats
– mountain climbers
– wide squats
– running on the spot with high knees

Cycle through 5, 10, 15, 20, 15, 10, and 5 reps per exercise.

30-45 second breaks between cycles

HaHa, there is no week 2 training video. The next video you will see is the video of the 2013 Candidates during their grading. In the mean time here is all the videos in one playlist if you want to see the progress they have made. Remember most of the videos do not show them at their best. They needed to see the errors they were making so they could correct themselves.

IT TAKES 524 BURPEES…..

It takes 524 burpees to burn off 1 large fries. Choose wisely.

This statement basically refers to the fact that you cannot out exercise your diet.

Your nutrition and your exercise have to go hand and hand.

You cannot exercise all the time and eat poorly. It’s not good for your health.

On the other hand you cannot just eat healthy and not exercise. This can also be bad for your health.

Nutrition and Fitness are partners. They have to work together. The best way is to find a balance between the two were it fits your lifestyle.

And yes it’s okay to treat yourself once in a while. We all do otherwise we all go crazy!
